Bike Share Launched At Apartment Communities Throughout The Philadelphia Area
Korman Residential Properties rolls out its Bike Share program at apartment communities throughout the Philadelphia Metropolitan area this week. Unlike other programs popping up in major cities, LIVEKORMAN Bike Share is free to residents, with no fees or time limits imposed.
Bike sharing is an emerging trend across the nation. While locations such as New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, DC all have adopted these programs, Korman Residential Properties is one of the first apartment owners to offer this service for free at its urban and suburban apartment communities.
"I love to ride my bike whether running errands, exploring with my kids, or getting some exercise out in the fresh air with my wife. Riding bikes is fun, and is great for relieving stress," stated James Korman, President of Korman Residential Properties. Korman is not alone on this feeling either. Active transport such as riding a bike has been proven to keep hearts and lungs in shape without over-stressing joints. Replacing short car, cab, or train rides with 10 minutes on a bike can really make a difference to a person's health.
"Whether its bike share, community gardens, off-leash dog parks, or smoke-free buildings, we are always coming up with new ways to make our communities fun, refreshing, and extraordinary places to live," added Korman.
Korman Residential owns and manages multi-family property portfolios in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Florida, and currently provides third party property management services to select clients.
