Belmont Hills Elementary and Korman Residential Partner Up For JDRF
The students and teachers of Belmont Hills Elementary School (Bensalem, PA) proudly walked around their local neighborhood on Tuesday in support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), and finding a cure for the disease which affects over 3 million Americans.
Over the last two weeks Belmont Hills partnered with Korman Residential Properties and the JDRF, and successfully raised over $3500 for research towards curing the disease. They kicked off their efforts with an assembly held by JDRF to teach the children about nutrition and type 1 diabetes.
Korman Residential Properties gave their support by providing bottled water and granola bars for the walk, and has extended an invitation to all students, parents, and teachers to walk with Team Korman on October 27th for the Philadelphia Walk To Cure Diabetes.
Want to get involved too? Korman has an open invitation to anyone who wants to lend their support or walk with them in Philadelphia. Contact Korman at 888-2-KORMAN, or visit them online at www.livekorman.com/jdrf.
