For many of us, the Superbowl is the exhilarating culmination of a hard-fought football season, where the best of the best battle it out on the field for the ultimate championship. For others, the Superbowl is as much about the food as it is about the game (sometimes more so). After all, no Superbowl party is complete without delicious snacks. So this year while you’re cheering on your favorite team, make sure you’ve got a winning appetizer on hand. This delicious buffalo chicken dip is sure to be the MVP of your party!
Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Dip
2 cooked chicken breast halves, shredded (or shredded rotisserie chicken)
1 (8-oz) package cream cheese
½ cup buffalo wing sauce (such as Frank’s Red Hot)
½ cup ranch or blue cheese salad dressing
¼ cup sour cream
1 ½ cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Tortilla chips, crackers or pita chips, for serving
Celery sticks and carrot sticks, for serving (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Combine chicken, cream cheese, buffalo wing sauce, ranch or blue cheese dressing, sour cream, and Monterey Jack cheese in a large bowl. Pour mixture into a greased 8x8-inch baking dish.
3. Bake for 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
